This is a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan dream. To go onto the field where they play. And to do it on your wedding day only makes it more special.
Ron is a Reds fan. He was there when the Reds won the 1975 championship. Linda suggested that the two of them elope and have their ceremony at the stadium. Ron was all for it.
We met early in the morning at the front gate of the Great American Ball Park stadium where we were escorted by a Reds representative. We traveled along the same halls as the players when they walk onto the field. Once on the field (but not the grass) we took photographs in the dugout where the players sit, on top of the dugout, in the stadium seats, and with the stadium in the background. It was an exciting and memorable way for Ron and Linda to celebrate their wedding day.
The actual wedding ceremony took place just outside the ball park in a small tree-line courtyard. It was just the two of them on a beautiful sunny September day. They were full of joyful tears as they exchanged vows and rings.
They are both winners in this game.
Thanks for asking me to record your special day.
