This past August I photographed the wedding of a lovely Northern Kentucky couple. The bride submitted images I took of her in her wedding dress to Bridal and Formal. Today those photographs were published on the B&F blog. Thanks Katie.
Allison and Jared enjoyed celebrating their wedding day with friends and family at the Pebble Creek Golf Course and Event Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. It was a lovely October day with blue skies and a gentle breeze.
Allison wore an elegant lightly-laced dress with a delicate wrap that was an attractive addition to her dress. With the final touches of the fingertip veil and a bouquet of purple flowers, she was dazzling.
The wedding colors were purple and silver, which was fitting for the early autumn season. The bridesmaids wore shades of purple and the reception room was filled with purple and silver decorations of lanterns, candles, paper butterflies, and table settings.
The couple live near Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in the Cincinnati area. So, they chose to come home to celebrate their wedding.
Thank you for letting us capture the special moments of your celebration.
Enjoy a wonderful future together.

Humidity, heat, wind, rain, sunshine, and a beautiful sunset. All in a matter of hours Josh and Rachel experienced all types of weather on their wedding day. The two of them took everything in stride and were even willing to go out in the rain for some photographs. The ceremony took place in glorious late afternoon sunshine. The timing could not have been better.
Rachel was a striking bride. Here delicately laced dress was gorgeous on her. Her wedding bouquet of light purple flowers added just enough color to complement her attractive style.
Ivy Hills Country Club, Cincinnati, Ohio is a lovely location for a wedding. The golf course offers a wide variety of backdrops and the facility is well maintained. It even has a restored carriage house set aside as a bride’s suite.
Thank you for asking me to be a part of your special day.
Norlyn Manor in Batavia, Ohio was the site of Laura and Jacob’s country wedding. Laura, a farrier by trade, is use to wearing cowboy boots. Laura, her bridesmaids, and 6 month old daughter all had their boots on for this happy occasion. Jacob, his son, and his groomsmen were cheerful and handsome in their grey suits and green vests.
Sycamore Park is located just on the southwestern edge of Batavia, Ohio and is a lovely location. It is bordered by the East Fork of the Little Miami River and offers a wonderful backdrop for the first reveal, bridal portraits, and group photographs.
Laura and Jacob enjoy life and wanted a fun stress-free wedding with friends and family. They successfully accomplished this goal by showing their love for each other, having a great time with their guest, and not worrying about the little things. This was an enjoyable wedding and I know they will be celebrating their union for a lifetime. Congratulations you two.
The wedding of Katilyn and Sean took place in Milford, Ohio just east of Cincinnati. The day started at a friend’s farm tucked in the scenic hills of Clermont County. Katilyn and Sean had plenty of room to relax and prepare with the bridal party.
Katilyn was stunning in her chiffon dress with a lace up back. The delicate fingertip length veil added a glamorous touch.
An old Catalpa tree lined road offered a picturesque and romantic backdrop for the first reveal. Katilyn walked up the shaded lane to tap Sean on the shoulder. His reaction to seeing Katilyn for the first time was priceless.
Drawing on the season for inspiration, the couple chose a color palette of yellow, white, and navy to bring an element of summer in their decor. The flowers were white roses with small yellow roses for accent.
The ceremony took place at Katilyn’s family church, Milford Baptist Church. The reception followed in the Fellowship hall.
Guest blew bubbles as the couple exited the church. Upon reaching their car, Sean and Katilyn found it filled with balloons. Once the balloons were removed, they were able to get away and start their new life together.
